“Every soul has a song. I’m the monster who sings them.”
- The Soul Crier
The Soul Crier
A banshee trapped in a curse.
A noble soldier with a secret.
A killer who controls their fate.
Only two will survive the night.
Invisible to everyone except Red Death’s victims, Wraith has served as his banshee for ten years. His curse forces her to play his game of music and murder while winter slowly starves their world. After singing hundreds of victims to their deaths, any hope she had of breaking her curse is as dead as everyone’s hope of seeing spring reborn—until the impossible happens.
A soldier sees her before her curse activates.
Dovan welcomes her into his life, treating her with kindness instead of trying to kill her like the other victims of her song.Desperate to understand why he’s different, Wraith risks getting closer to him, drawn to a life she can never have. Banshees don’t fall in love, and Red Death won’t be denied his kill. But something’s weakening the curse, giving her a chance to change their fate.
Save Dovan’s life, break her curse, or end winter—Wraith can only choose one.
This low spice (just kissing) NA fantasy is perfect for fans of star-crossed lovers, shocking secrets, and curse-breaking.

“Most people can expect trouble to find them at least once in their lives. I’m the girl trouble has never lost.”

Enter what I call my froggy, stormy, chaotic fae book, lol. After publishing The Soul Crier, I had planned to dive right into Project Faebies, but I was very burned out. I knew that four book project would be another difficult challenge. It took some time to realize I needed a break from writing darker/more complex stories. It was May 2023 when I saw a random video someone had made of a frog trail made of black paint in their garage. The froggy shaped black splats against the white walls inspired what became Save the Frog.
What if there was a fae court inside a powerful, somewhat sentient storm, what if the queen of that court had recently died(murdered???), what if a human girl on a quest to find her missing parents accidentally set loose a grumpy thunder frog who wanted revenge and took that revenge by stealing the Everstorm Court’s crown right in front of the court and the newly revealed prince who is set on taking that crown? Mwhahah. Like I said, chaos.
I’m 60,000 words into it and loving every chapter. The dynamic between the two main characters, Florrie (human girl who’s just trying to save the crown-stealing frog), and Rue Stormbreaker (the storm guard interrogator and also unclaimed prince of the Everstorm Court) who just wants his crown—they are SO much fun. I’ve been sharing some quotes as I write the first draft on my social media. I don’t have any set dates for this book yet, but I hope to finish it sometime next year.
Project Faebies - Future WIP
“She could set me free.
If he didn’t unintentionally kill her first.”
And so begins the ambitious writing adventure I’ve dubbed Project Faebies. The main characters in this four book high fantasy series have been chatting in my ear for months, keeping me sane as I finished edits for The Soul Crier. I am SO excited about this story. Here’s a little more about it.

Noxar Draven, leader of the Hand of Death, Prince of Shadows, and executioner for the shadow queen harbors a deep hatred for the way his fae-kind run their world, but for all his feared power, he’s as powerless to change things as a magic-less human.
Tempest is a half fae and human rebel on the run, but when she uses lightning to save another half and kills her fae lord, she finds herself facing the death wager. A fatal challenge designed so her magic will fail. It’s how the fae do executions. What she doesn’t expect is to be saved by the most lethal and feared fae of all, the shadow queen’s favorite prince, Noxar.
Forced to be reluctant allies, Nox and Tempest must team up not only for their survival but for the chance of changing their world.

In this Literary Regency Dystopian, Rogan Calvor, born to be the leader of the city, has a choice. Accept their divided society as it is, or change it. But unlike Gemma Humil, the dreamer who’s stolen his heart, he doesn’t believe things can change.
I wrote this stand alone novel before The Soul Crier, and unlike my other books, this one does not have a happy ending. I was wrestling with how easily it can be to dehumanize someone based on their choices/beliefs/looks. While I do plan to publish this book and its companion novella, An Unjust Grave, I realize it is a difficult read for its subject matter and the amount of death in the story. But I didn’t write it for it to sit on my computer. The easiest way to know if this book will be for you or not, can be determined by how you feel about main characters dying. Or, if you hated the way the Divergent Trilogy by Veronica Roth ended, please check out my other stories, which do have happy-ish endings.
